Joris Daudet takes the win and gold medal  in Paris!
On his 4th appearance at an Olympic Games, Joris Daudet finally has the one missing title from his career, Olympic Gold!Â
After an impressive qualifying day on Thursday, Joris came to the SQY track on Friday with one things on his mind, Gold. Joris would race in 3 semifinal racers before the final, winning 2 of the 3, but an impresssive last lap game his the top gate pick for the main event, where he chose gate #1. With the 3 French BMX Team riders all being the most impressive of the day, each winning rounds up until the final, it looked to be an all out battle between the French team for Gold.Â
When the gate dropped, Joris did have the gate of the night, grabbing the holeshot and edging out his teammates into turn one. Joris would ride the lap of his life and pull away from the other 7 riders around the track, taking the win and Olympic Gold!
