Chase BMX Race Report – USA BMX Derby City Nationals – Louisville, KY
The Louisville, KY BMX track is one of the stapes of BMX racing in the USA and the 2025 USA BMX Derby City Nationals was one great event overall for the BMX racing community, but not the results the Chase BMX team was after. While both Izaac and Barry rode their way into the main event both days, we are used to seeing both the riders on the top of the podium but this weekend it wasnt meant to be.
Izaac was fresh off his 2nd place finish at the UCI BMX World Championships, so he came to the Derby City Nationals looking to stay on the podium. While he rode strong both days, when it came time to line up for the main event, Izzac’s best result was a 6th on Day 1 and a crash regulated him to 8th on Day 2.

Barry made his was back to racing, as an injury has kept hm off track almost all season. Barry has been putting in the work and by watching him race, you wouldn’t know he was unable to fully train most of the year. Barry would finish off the weekend with 2 2nd place finishes overall.
Izaac will be back on track in Mid September for the next USA BMX Pro Series event, along with Joris Daudet.
