As a lead up to the 2026 USA BMX Carolina Nationals, USA Cycling held its National Championship for the Pro riders on Friday night in Rock Hill, SC.
Payton Ridenour took to the track, looking to repeat her 2025 National Championship title. When the gate dropped for main event, Payton powered down the 8 meter hill, took the lead, and never looked back, taking the 2026 USA Cycling National Championship title!
What was just as exciting, at her race win finish line interview, she let the fans know that last week, Chase had officially signed her onto the Factory Pro team and this was her first official race for the brand as a Factory Pro! We are super excited to let the scoop out a bit early, as we were waiting for her to have her full Chase uniform and kit to make the official announcement but the cats out the bad and Payton has just took the #winwithchase!
The 2 days of Pro racing towards the 2026 USA BMX national Championship overall Pro title kicks off on Saturday, where Izaac Kennedy, Barry Nobles, Ryan Tougas, and Heston Novotny will all join Payton on track, looking to once again #winwithchase.
