The 2025 UCI BMX World Cup series kicked off this past weekend in Sarrians, France.
This was the largest participated UCI BMX World Cup in History and the French Fans made it a grand day or racing. With the Olympic sweep in the medals at the last big race in France, they were ready to watch the French try to keep all other countries off the podium once again.
Izaac, Joris, and Cedric were riding on point all day and each made their way into the Main event on Saturday.
Front he start of the main event, It looked like it was to be a good battle with Izaac and Joris for the win, but Arthur Picard had a different thought, as he took the hole shot and had Izaac and Joris behind him in turn one. Izaac would make a quest to fight for the win, but Arthur was not about to hand over the win and Izaac had to settle for 2nd. Unfortunately for Joris and Cedric, a crash in turn 2 would ens any shot of the podium for either.
On Sunday, Izaac was once again one of the fastest riders on track, making his way into the main event once again Unfortunately for Joris, he had an early exit on Sunday.
Izaac would finish in 3rd on Sunday, keeping him as one of the most consistenet riders of the World Cup opening weekend. Izaac and Joris will head to Rounds 3 & 4 next weekend in Papendal, The Netherlands.
