Joris Daudet wins the 2024 UCI BMX World Championship

Rock Hill, South Carolina USA

‘The UCI BMX world Championships returned to the USA to the beautiful Rock Hill Facility. Then Chase Pro,Team of Joris Daudet, Izaac Kennedy, and Barry Nobles all have made this an important race for the 2024 season and each had a goal to tick off. Barry was looking to retain his title, Izaac wanted his first, and Joris was looking for a strong result coming back from his injury in Australia.

Unfortunately for Barry he didn’t get the chance to race a main for the title due to bad weather and racing being cancelled.

Izaac had a crash on the final day of practice, sidelining him with a fracture in his wrist.

Joris was returning from injury and was looking to get back to his early season form. Starting things off with a qualifier win, Joris would continue to take wins in his 1/8, 1/4, and 1/2 final race.
Lining up for the main event, Joris had the inside and gate 1 and with an incredible start, he would drag race Niek Kimmann  into the 1st turn and edge him out. From there Joris ran a clean and fast lap, taking the win and his 3rd World Championship title.
